I have so many stories but the one that pops up in my head to this day is when I was headed to a jobsite just after the Florida sun started lighting up the sky. I cherished those mornings. I wanted to go check on a first-time home buyer’s house to get the ball rolling. We were just bringing in the first loads of dirt to bring the slab up a few feet so we would have excellent drainage when the house was complete. Anyways, I turned the corner and all I saw was a huge dump truck doing a wheelie! Yes, a wheelie! The driver forgot to open the truck’s gate so when he started dumping the dirt it did not come out and the truck popped a wheelie. When I walked up to get a closer look, the first thing that came to mind was “is everyone alright?” Everyone was fine and there was just some embarrassing jokes to the driver. I will never forget seeing that enormous truck sitting up like a dog begging for a treat.

Everything is not perfect in construction which is why I love what I do. I loved seeing the home buyers smile and excitement when I hand them the keys. I feel the same way with home inspections. I enjoy meeting so many new people and making sure their house is safe and giving them the peace of mind to start their dream or family in a well inspected home. Local Home Inspections is a smaller company that I want to be a part of and have a better connection with my clients and realtors to assist in a seamless process towards home purchases.
